Thinkinator is a stripped-down Arduino-style board with headers for connecting a string of Blinkinators and also providing headers for the remaining digital and analog pins (some of which will be connected to buttons).

The board has no on-board serial or USB chipset, but provides a 6 pin header so that a small serial break-out board can be used if required. A 6 pin AVR ICSP header is also provided for re-programming if required.

The board also provides space for a USB socket to be connected to provide power and connectivity to your compute.  If you plan on using the USB port then you probably want to hack a cheap USB-to-MIDI cable onto the USB header.

There is also an optional MIDI expander which provides room for two 5 pin DIN connectors to be attached and used instead of the USB port.
